Every piece of furniture serves a purpose
Cologne, 27 October 2026. At Kinnarps, Design with a purpose extends to every single product. Each piece of furniture should serve a clear purpose, based on how people work and the organisation’s goals. At ORGATEC 2026, the Swedish interior solution provider demonstrates how its products bring this philosophy to life. They support both concentration and collaboration, encourage movement, are designed for long-term use and can adapt to future ways of working. Highlights include the Brace table series and new formats in the Vibe acoustic series.
Brace – a natural hub where people meet and ideas grow
Brace is a wooden table series designed for meetings, collaboration and work lounges. With its softly shaped wooden A-leg design and materials from the Kinnarps Colour Studio, it creates a warm atmosphere and a natural meeting point in the office. Brace extends ergonomic thinking beyond the desk and into meeting spaces. The series is available in three heights – 740, 900 and 1,050 mm – encouraging variation between sitting and standing. This makes Brace suitable for traditional seated meetings, active sitting on stools and informal standing discussions. Optional movable screens from the Vibe acoustic series offer acoustic privacy and flexibility, allowing spaces to transition easily between focused work and collaboration. Brace is FSC®- and Möbelfakta-certified and is designed with a limited number of components, making it easier to repair, disassemble and recycle.
Vibe – creating acoustic balance without building additional rooms
The Vibe acoustic series expands with new ceiling and wall-mounted formats, offering greater flexibility and more possibilities for combining solutions. Its modules help define zones in open-plan environments, provide acoustic screening for workstations and minimise distractions, supporting focused work without the need for additional enclosed rooms. Mounted on the ceiling or wall, they reduce noise levels while keeping floor and desk space free. Vibe is available in two versions to meet different needs. Vibe Light is slim and space-efficient, while Vibe Focus offers high sound absorption and effective screening. With its timeless design and high quality, Vibe is built to last. As workplace needs evolve, the elements can be repositioned and reused following rearrangements, refurbishments or relocations, and their covers are removable and replaceable. Vibe is FSC®- and Möbelfakta-certified.
Capella X brings movement into sitting
Kinnarps takes a holistic approach to ergonomics, where movement plays an essential role. The Capella X task chair encourages continuous movement throughout the working day, even while seated. The seat cannot be locked, and the unique FreeMotion® mechanism allows the seat and backrest to move independently, encouraging natural movement and supporting blood circulation. The chair family is certified according to EN 1335 Type A, with selected variants also certified according to Type AX, accommodating a wide range of users. Capella XL is approved for users weighing up to 150 kg. Of all Capella X components, 82 per cent are manufactured in Sweden, including 48 per cent in Kinnarps’ own production units.
